Spectator Netting

Made from durable tested materials incorporating netting approved by the NHL and the National Standards of Canada, CSA Z262.704.

Available in two styles and can operate manually or electrically and are designed to be installed by the owner/operator of the facility. All components are sourced in North America with the exception of the electric motors made in France. The netting is durable knotless and abrasion UV resistant and totally permanently fireproof.

Net

• NHL approved, Dcel model, distinguished as least obtrusive of any current approved models. Fire resistant treatment that is infused through manufacturing process is not a surface coating that has diminishing life. Corner eye splice construction ensures net remains uniform without loose ends or unsightly sags. Net is available in 5 standard heights; 7’, 9’, 12’, 15’ and 18’ by any length. Supplied black polymer coated for extra UV resistance.

Hardware

Turning Block (pulley) Mounted above winch at net height for convenience of use permitting access to winch from floor level. Cast iron pulley runs on 2 ball races and is 5-1/2” in diameter so as not to damage cable that is highly tensioned. Pulley is mounted on a 4” x6” x¼” plate designed to attach to wall with ½” bolts or threaded rods. End anchor plate is mounted at opposite end of arena at same height as turning pulley designed to anchor the top cable/chain with full adjustment to centre net.
All hardware is zinc plated for durability except cast iron wheel and winch base plate.
Hoisting Kit
Quantity of 3 is required to help hoist net into position eliminating arduous cranking of the winch to reduce the curve formed by the weight of the net over the long span.
